I have read so many posts tonight that are not short of bullying to be honest. So someone has questions and ideas that do not sound particulary sane, so what! This is exactly why some people "including me" are a little worried about posting thier ideas, fears, little problems that to the individual are huge but to some of you lot are funny or total lies that you can belittle and make fun off.

If that is what mumsnet is all about then you carry on

aww - what a shame you're not going to stick around

cornsilkscatholichamster · 12/01/2010 00:01

for sue
Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so hello will display hello. For underline use , so hello_ gives hello. For italics use , so hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so dog gives dog

gaelicsheep · 12/01/2010 00:02

WWC - I don't think you're a troll but I think you are digging yourself a deeper and deeper hole and I'm losing sympathy. I have been deeply offended by b/f threads in the past and I have noticed that you are continuing in the same vein without taking any advice to rein it in.

My advice is to give it up and start again. Otherwise you are just adding fuel to the fire of those posters (and I'm not one of them) that think it's OK to bully genuine people off this forum.

VinegarTits · 12/01/2010 00:02

Bof i cant find it, still no credit on my phone either

i must go to bed now

justsue, do yourself everyone a favour and drop some of those lol's you'll get flamed. Txt speak is a big bug bear. Some posters are ok with it but at lot prefer to keep the teenage txt speak out in rl.

ShowOfHands · 12/01/2010 01:33

Yes don't lol, you sound quite mad.

Welcome to MN.

I was called a troll once. Gave me the warm and fuzzies. Till I realised the baby had actually weed down my leg.

mummysgoingmad · 12/01/2010 01:37

showofhands that merits a lol as i actually did!

skihorse · 12/01/2010 08:05

YANBU - it's lame but don't take it as a personal affront - if anyone has time/inclination to go "troll-hunting" (or even just being mean to someone in trauma) it says a lot about their lives. Feel pity instead.

2010aQuintessentialOdyssey · 12/01/2010 08:13

yeah, where is that Slubber?

We are not all biatches. Some of us are really nice and cosy.

Take me. I am like a big ball of pink fluff.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 12/01/2010 09:05
AnyFucker · 12/01/2010 09:49

welcome, justsue

please stay, you sound quite normal

sophie...you need to get out more

I wonder how many threads WWC is going to try and crash...put your spade away love, you are beginning to sound demented

lucyellensmumagain · 12/01/2010 10:36

i think a lot of the issues with trolls is - some of them are very funny, justsue, you need to do a search on kitchen utensils to see why. The problem is, when some people post false or inflammatory posts about sensitive subjects. Its shit to have to relive bad situations to find out that someone was actually taking the piss. If you want to avoid the troll hunters and the "bullying" avoid AIBU, its a free for all and you will find the rest of the site much more welcoming - alternatively, ooh, this is twice in two days now - there is always netmums (they do txt speak and say hun alot, but ive never really noticed any substance)

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 12/01/2010 10:46

Hi Justsue - the trolls come and go. Sometimes we suffer from a rash of them. WashWithCare is very trollish and easy to spot - all of the threads she has started are on contentious issues, guaranteed to stir up a fight between posters. You only need to have a look at her charming breastfeeding/breast cancer thread to see the angst she is causing. Why people are posting on there I simply cannot understand.

I think you simply need to trust that the regulars (that horribly cliquey playground set that SophieDahling is so worked up about! dear oh deary me) do tend to know what they are talking about when it comes to trolls. Its just comes with experience from wasting spending many hours/days/months/years/almost decades infact posting on this forum.

Of course we oldies are not always right about trolls but we usually are.

MadameOvary · 12/01/2010 10:49

Maybe take a leaf out of this poster's book?

lucyellensmumagain · 12/01/2010 11:00

i bloody knew she was a troll (WWC!)
