Also bizarrely educational. My 3 & 5 yr olds really impressed an elderly british couple walking through the Louvre behind us by telling dh and I all about the Sphinx (head of a man, body of a lion, comes from eqypt etc). Turns out they learnt it from 'Wonder pets save the camel'. They also knew loads about the Eiffel Tower - 'wonder pets save the french poodle'.

The song from 'wonder pets save the armadillo' is by far the best one though. Although, I admit it is possibly very very sad that I am expert enough to know this.

i actually learnt about the bird that cleans the crocodiles teeth today!! ling-ling is my personal hate even though ds loves it!

Oh YADNBU, they're fkg hideous, I banned DD1 from watching them and their caterwauling, luckily she's too old to watch them now

LOL me and Twiglett used to have a two woman hate campaign against them. The children who do the voices CAN'T sing! Now, in comparison to ICarly et al I'm feeling quite nostalgic about the old wonderpets. There's an animal in twuble, there's an animal in twuble somewhere...

DD LOVES the wonderpets! i used to hate them, but have come round to them now and I second what sybilvimes said about it being educational.

DD who is 2 corrected me when I sang about saving the dinosaur while we were playing with a little t Rex - she looked at me and said 'But thats not a Stegosaurus' little smarty pants!
