Fridge magnets?

I hate hate hate hate hate the things!!!!!

But now I am a mother, I find myself with six of the damn things on my fridge. Some of which ds has made at various points throughout primary school, with pictures of himself in etc. I don't have the heart not to put them up.

I also now have bits of paper that must be displayed. Certificates for good behaviour (so very rare that they must be celebrated!), school newsletters and other things that need to stay in sight.

My beautiful shiny black fridge has been defaced with the horrible things.

I would love to think, get a pinboard, that'll be better. But trust me, there is nowhere in my house that would "suit" a pinboard.

So I guess, I must just have to suffer? .

Woe is me.

Oh yes YABU, magnets are great.

i have 4 fridgemagnets,3 with the following quotes " we take our kids everywhere, but they keep finding their way home" " id ive up chocolate, but im no quiter" and "if they put a man on the moon , why cant they send them all there?"
and another one, a photo one ....the mil gave too the DTWINS. Its a picture of the PIL! .So everytime i make a cup of tea, or make the dinner ,Mil is there grinning at me . like this ->.,(shes lovely , but its just too creepy)

We have about 20 sign language pictures up there... 2 sheets with all the basic hand shapes and the rest are little pics of signs we're currently learning with ds2.

all those are help up by little magnets with words on them that Santa brought the kids.

There's a big notepad one as well, with a fairy happy birthday badge and a red flower corsage hanging off it.

A 'Jesus is coming..... Look busy' magnet

The out of hours doctors number (got the fridge magnet free at the gp) and a meningitis symptom list and a sticker with my credit card protection numbers on it so i can find them easily if needed.

That's just the fridge, the freezer below has about 30 of those magnets Innocent are giving at the minute and some more word and letter ones as well.

How on earth did this come to life?
Since I made my post 18 months ago, we've moved and now have a fridge with four magnetic fish on. They aren't terribly attractive, but DD made them from a kit.
