My dh is also not as funny - he does have a 'man drawer' with a lot of old batteries, keys and foreign currency in though

But he made some very funny comments about MM that mad me realise I didnt find him as funny/clever as I first thought.

Oh god, I loathe MM. Totally safe, like an unfunny version of Peter Kay (though PK ain't exactly too funny now either). MM has the sort of face you'd never tire of punching.

I saw MM live and he looked so small on the huge stage, I don;t think it suited his material. A bit too eager to please as well. But he can be funny on that Appollo thing

MM sucks. Too physical and -oh the horror of horrors- he actually laughs at his own jokes!!! That on it's own makes for terrible comedy.

Call me old fashioned, but I just can't get over Dylan Moran. He's kept me company and made me lol during very dark times. I named DS1 after him! I know...

But yeah, YANBU re DP, mine's not very funny either.
