it's the isolated village cannibal one. particularly narsty.
DD is 11 and a bit.

i'm normally fairly neglectful relaxed about what they see / don't see and they are able to differentiate between real narsty (the news) and pretend (everything else).

but DH has just got uppity because i insisted it was turned over.

It is very graphic, and on the DVD it has a 15 rating from the British Censor, and an 18 from the Irish one, so no, I don't think you were unreasonable.

gorgeousgirl · 09/01/2010 21:19

Hey - it sounds good is it going to be repeated???

RustyBear · 09/01/2010 21:31

It's on Watch+1 at 10pm tonight.

RustyBear · 09/01/2010 21:32

Maybe your DH could watch it then, Eccentrica if your DD has gone to bed by that time.

Katymac · 09/01/2010 21:37

It's great but not for an 11 yo (IMO)

ImSoNotTelling · 09/01/2010 21:37

YANBU i can't remember that one but torchwood is really scary and, worse, disturbing.

It gives me nightmares and i'm 36, ,and that children of earth thing is seared onto my consciousness...

WingedVictory · 09/01/2010 22:06

No way, I wouldn't watch it again. There's also some quite franks sexual talk as well, if I remember correctly.

Well done, EccentricaGallumbits.
