My dd took the calls that said to sets of friends were going to come round to play in the snow behind our house after lunch, I was happy and baked a cake.
No signs of friends so eventually I took dc out to play in the snow and came in when cold.
No sign of friends, tried to ring, no answer.
Later notice one set of friends and others playing in the snow behind our house. My dc still cold and didn't want me to go out. So watched them from the house a bit wondering why they hadn't knocked on the door to say they had come!
When I went outside (ds1 back so could leave younger dc with him)to join them, they all left without saying a word. I didn't greet them either as several I didn't recognise.
Later ds said they had knocked but I hadn't heard. Ds also said to them I was probably working.
I'm now upset, aibu?
