We were all relaxing on the sofa, the boys winding down after a nice salad for dinner.
Next thing, doorbell rings.

DP goes to the door, where he is met by a pizza delivery boy, with 2 HUGE pizzas and some garlic bread, AND coleslaw!!

Apparently, exW had been worried that the boys would go hungry at our house, so she has started sending food out to them.

This is a first, even for her. I am gobsmacked and Dp says he is visiting our lawyer at the earliest opportunity.

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 18:38

Oh yes. She definitely has a little cape. And those strained cords in the neck from trying to keep up with the real French posh mummies. But I mean that kindly.

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 18:41

bonsoir anna has lost credibility after her self confessed shit stirring

i really like xenia posts.great antidote to the bleating precious moments mamas.xenia always remains restrained when posters are v rude

expatinscotland · 09/01/2010 18:41

Chicken on pizza is so wrong. Pineapple on pizza is vile.

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 18:44

Not so much self-confessed shit stirring as an attempt to explain herself without using any warmth or emotion. I think she was simply saying she was interested in people's views without necessarily caring about them. I think that's fair enough.

Poor little Anna in her large Parisian apartment, weighing people and fretting. Ahhh.

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 18:44

Anything on pizza is wrong. Pizza is wrong.

i love pizza.esp hot jalapeños.but not pineapple no no

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 19:22

Dittany - yes, it's not intentional. When you are in the grip of mad French keep-upness, empathy comes a poor second.

Batteryhuman · 09/01/2010 19:30

Anna's posts make me laugh but Xenia's wind me up. She called SAHM "quasi prostitutes" earlier on a perfectly calm little thread about a City lawyer leaving her job

here

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 19:38

Oh, it's not fair to start on Xenia on a totally unrelated thread. She's posting from a very specific mind set which most of us can't really identify with, much like Anna I suppose.

Hullygully · 09/01/2010 19:43

I like her too. I like all the uncompromising ones.

I want to thank you, by the way, Dittany, and apologise for my rant at you a few weeks ago (which I'm sure you have forgotten about but I actually felt quite guilty for). I looked at the nosdiet website after you linked it recently and after following it for a week I have lost five pounds.

Oh wow, I didn't realize you were a nosdiet fan too Dittany!

MadameDefarge · 09/01/2010 20:17

what is this nosdiet you speak of?

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 20:23

Thank you Dittany.

nosdiet.com - you must read every word of the site, the man is a genius, but it's very simple:

No snacks
No seconds
No sugar/sweets

Except sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays.

So there's no calorie counting, no forbidden foods, just you learning how to eat in moderation like a normal human being 3 times a day (with dispensation to eat 4 or 5 small meals instead if due to medical necessity such as diabetes). Alcohol is allowed but as I do drink too much I have dumped it weekdays.

Bonsoir is as real as we all are.

Pizza should be so thin the bread crunches when you bite it and singed round the edges. It should have barely any topping but whatever topping there is should involve garlic in some way.

Chicken, pineapple and sweetcorn are abominations on a pizza.

BitOfFun · 09/01/2010 20:35

Dittany, I had a go at clearing the path today with a big spade and thought of the shovelglove exercise plan

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 20:36

well done bonsoir - i have been stoned to near- death on AIBU too and accused of spreading Trollitus. At least we ensure that this place does not transform into Magnolia Nation
