We were all relaxing on the sofa, the boys winding down after a nice salad for dinner.
Next thing, doorbell rings.

DP goes to the door, where he is met by a pizza delivery boy, with 2 HUGE pizzas and some garlic bread, AND coleslaw!!

Apparently, exW had been worried that the boys would go hungry at our house, so she has started sending food out to them.

This is a first, even for her. I am gobsmacked and Dp says he is visiting our lawyer at the earliest opportunity.

eh?

bampot?

I'm sorry, but I am normally quite quiet and non-contraversial on MN. I don't like people taking the piss however. Bonsoir is a self admitted troll. Why are you defending her and making ME out to be the mad one?

NotAnOtter · 09/01/2010 00:29

re the other thread Anna is provocative but i find mumsnetters overbearing in their condemnation and jumping to conclusion y ness

too much

fwiw i do think in our that is uk /western culture the pendulum has swung too far in that you cannot mention weight.... i have to pick my words with my teens rather than saying ' carry on eating like that and you will get fat'

equally thin people cannot abstain from eating without being accused of being 'too thin' or having 'issues'

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 00:29

cool it with victim status.anna posts obviously barking but threads to take piss/mass against poster constitute bullying

if anna gets on your tits
A IGNORE
B constructively post, riposte and all that

don't herd into daft she said oh my gosh threads.regardless of what anna posts this is liberal democracy,so challenge or ignore.dont incite cowardly bullying (whoever opm was)

Portofino · 09/01/2010 00:41

You're right. This a liberal democracy. I can say what I like. And so can the OP.

Bonsoir can say what she likes too. But when she admits to trolling, and others have had to leave the thread because they are upset, I will not feel guilty about calling her on that.

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 00:49

call anna what you wish, but all this pissing about bigging up posters is bag of shite.she is actually quite inane and obvious and not the most odious poster on mn

you know what if anna really annoys the best thing is to get a strategy either
challenge ignore

imo,yes anna is worth a good riposte on a thread.nothong more, certainly dont think her lame posting merits any hand wringing.she is obvious and admittedly likes the contention

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 09/01/2010 01:08

i like anna and i enjoy her posts. i think this OP is a bit mean so long after the fact.

slim22 · 09/01/2010 02:39

I like Anna, share many of her views and enjoy her posts too but here, when prompted, she did not really want to engage on the real issues. Fair enough up until there.

It was a bit pathetic to let it fester and then argue she was conducting a social study on how AIBU threads degenerate. That's a step too condescending.

What can I say? we all do get very bored sometimes and use MN for entertainment.

skihorse · 09/01/2010 07:19

I rather like Anna too - she's a breath of fresh air around here. I don't agree with all her views - bien sur!

But this "ganging up" thing which goes on is in very poor taste and not particularly becoming of any of you supposedly grown women who apparently represent (or claim to) the "thinking mums of GB".

I greatly admire Anna for not giving a flying fuck for your opinions - it does not indicate that she feels she is "too good" or that you are "unworthy" but simply that she has faith in her own beliefs and does not feel the need to have to appease any of you! Bravo Anna!

expatinscotland · 09/01/2010 09:57

I like pizza more.

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 10:22

best pizza is olive, onion, cheese, peppers and jalapeños

Mongolia · 09/01/2010 15:04

I, on the other hand, am very jealous of scottishmummy... she has a "ñ" , and I don't

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 15:29

I made pizza for lunch. It was yummy.

skihorse · 09/01/2010 16:23

Wither anchovies & olives?

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 16:27

Yep, and artichoke hearts. Is my pizza that interesting that you need to search my posts about it, and put a face? Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

skihorse · 09/01/2010 17:04

My post was in response to scottishmummy who claimed that the best pizza did not contain anchovy. I am stunned by such a revelation and frankly very . Before we know it some lunatic will come along and claim that pineapple goes with pizza!

HerBeatitude · 09/01/2010 17:12

I actually t hought this was going to be a thread taking the piss out of Anna, I didn't realise it was going to be Anna taking the piss out of herself.

Does anyone still take her seriously? I don't believe for a moment that the over-sized exwife is sending pizzas and kormas. Anna just enjoyed that last thread so much she's determined to continue it a new guise.

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 17:31

Oh sorry, touchy me. Pineapple does go on pizza. But not at the same time as anchovies, and anchovies are superior to pretty much any other topping.

It is a thread taking the piss out of Anna. The OP name is not hers, although similar.

scottishmummy · 09/01/2010 17:37

you all need your fucking bumps felt.honestly

anchovy
pineapple
on pizza?

wet boak might as well add a wee rodent, taste as nice as anchovy and/or pineapple

HerBeatitude · 09/01/2010 17:59

oh la la that is good.

I thought it was a bit too OTT even for Anna - thought she'd given up pretending to be real

(still haven't seen her and xenia in the same room )

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 18:17

The only thing I will not eat on pizza is chicken. That seems deeply wrong to me, although I have never properly been able to explain why.

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 18:18

No, she can't stand Xenia. And Xenia is very real, I actually know who she is, although obviously I wouldn't say.

bidibidi · 09/01/2010 18:26

Damnit, why will no one drop enough hints for me to figure out who Xenia is IRL? I continue to suffer in ignorance on that matter...

Georgimama · 09/01/2010 18:30

She's not famous. I've only been able to work it out because we're in the same profession (and that's not something she tries to hide).

I love her. All thin, meagre and kind of desperate in a cashmere cardie is how I see her.
