they plan to pick up the faulty toy they sold me?

I have emailed them and they said they would send a courier to pick it up. I emailed back asking when and they never replied. A few days later someone turned up when I was out.

I emailed back and told them that was a bit silly and today they have emailed back saying they can't give me an exact time but will send another courier out 'in the next few days' to collect it!

AIBU to not expect to have to take unlimited time off work until they decide to show up??

I think YANBU. I am a SAHM but had the same experience (not with ELC) and in the end decided I was not going to be a prisoner in my own house just because one day someone might come to pick up items that have been delivered twice I still have a stock of glue sticks and paper that has not been picked up since August!

I would email them back and tell you will be leaving it outside on x date at x time ti be collected as they are failing to tell you when it will be collected and that it is not your responsibility if it goes missing....

I got so cross I told them to forget it but that I wouldn't be forgetting it next time I was looking to buy anything. It's only a missing part, not critical to the toy (it's a castle) but irritating none the less.

Issysmilk, the thing is I needed them to deliver a replacement and they give you the voucher when they collect the other item apparently so if I leave it outside I may not get the voucher IYSWIM.
