I want snow where is it, why does Milton Keynes have no snow

Well where is it!

Can't sleep and Noah, I'm on the borders of North Herts, Beds and Cambs (just in the Cambs side). We have some snow, but more like fairy dust atm. Forecast heavy snow by 3pm.
Hope I can get to addenbrookes for my scan at 8am tomorrow.

none in kent (at least in my bit!) im getting grumpy now

It's snowing here now so fiveisanawfullybignumber, you should be getting it fairly soon. Hope you can get to your scan OK!

DD's home visit is happening

mawbroon, you poor thing A broken ankle is something you would never wish for, but especially not when you're heavyily pregnant. You have my sympathies.

I live about 25 miles away from MK and went there yesterday afternoon. When I left home there was some snow, when I got to MK there was none and by the time I got home just a couple of hours later, the snow had settled quite deeply (N Oxon). It's now really deep. Pleased the snow has reached MK and prettified it

sweetnitanitro, thanks for the heads up. have two kids cooped up at home desparate for snow in the back garden to play in. 8yr old DS with chicken pox and 18m old DD probably incubating the pox!

We've had practically no snow either, since before christmas. When we moved to Scotland from the south east, the boys were sure that they'd be getting some snow days off school, but last winter and this winter, our old hometown has been hit by snow, and their old schools have been closed, whilst we have had a picturesque frosting of snow that hasn't been enough to close the schools even once!

MawBroon - so sorry to hear about your ankle - I have to confess that I am not going out much, unless I can be driven to somewhere with clear pavements, because a broken bone would be such a hassle for me - and it must be 10 times more hassle for you right now.

Yes we definitely have snow now, its my fault for wishing for it as i wanted go go saleshopping bank and i dont drive so would have to go by public transport

We now have snow in Bournemouth ,been snowing here for ten minutes ,i was very disappointed we didnt get the promised weather last night ,but its finally here

Goldensnitch I'm not sure you could even get to 360 today. There are three cars abandoned at the top of my road and we're not far from you.

I live near 360 and my dh works in knowlhil. DD goes to Ducklings in Emerson tomorrow so we will see, hope that i get a refund if not.

Really Ghouls!? DH managed to get over to Blakelands to take my car for it's MOT. He said the roads were fine!

He currently helping our neighbour clear her drive to she can get out to go to work. He's shovelled it, salted it and then reversed her car off for her! Shall I send him round to you afterwards?

Yeah, I'm sure the grid roads are fine but the roads on our estate are terrible. They always are when it snows, always having to dig cars out and push them off the road round here.

We tend to only have problems getting out of our cul-de-sac. Especially our little end as mine and DH's cars are the only ones that use that bit of the road unless the neighbour that side has visitors.

The road through the estate is a bus route so it tends to not be too bad.

It is really thick snow and still snowing heavily here in Northampton and i have misplaced my ds's shoes so cant even go and play
It is my first wedding anniversary saturday and have booked a night at the Hilton MK (didnt want to go to far as its the first night away from ds) i hope we can get to it safely

Surrey. School is shut. I haven't gone to work. Been snowing constantly since 8pm last night. But only a few inches. Next town has 40 cm apparently !!
