Here are my excuses reasons:

  1. Its 5 am and i am wide awake because i am wheezing and my inhaler as run out of gas, so i am never going to get back to sleep now, hence i will be tired all day
  1. It has snowed, thick thick snow, at least 5 inches from what i can see, so my hour commute will be a nightmare and probably take 1.5 hrs

Or am i just being a wimp?

Lizzy where is dh now ?
dp got as far as Pilsworth then got call saying office in Manchester shut. Took him nearly 3 hours round trip.
Can you believe how much snow we have

Lizzylou · 05/01/2010 12:46

Lily, he is at the Failsworth office (just off M60, Oldham road), took him 2 hours to get in and his was last car off the slip road this am, he left here just before 7am, the loon.
He'll never make it back here, will he?
I honestly have never seen so much snow!

Going out in back garden now, wish me luck, if I don't appear in a few hours, get someone to dig us out, won't you?

Lilyloo · 05/01/2010 12:50

Dp said hardly any cars had moved off the road when he came back so depends what the state of the road up here is if no one is really moving!
Seems to be easing up a bit now and i don't think we have any forecast for tom
Are you not sick of playing in it ? Can't even persuade the dc's or neighbours dc to go out in it

Have just had the call from nursery to 'suggest' we pick up the boys (cleverly not saying they are closing though )

Guess I better get togged up and go out trekking!
