To think my sister is a twit for going out in this weather? (bad snow)

It's been snowing all day, the roads are bad and she's kept her arrangement to go out with a mate. Her husband will have to pick them up at about midnight/1230/1am. The roads will be treacherous! I am quite worried they will have an accident.

AIBU to want to give her a good slap when I see her next?

Assuming I don't see her next in a bloody hospital bed cos they skidded straight off the bloody road.

Am rather worried tbh. Will have to stay up until she's safely home!

ok, never mind! turns out my dad may have exaggerated state of roads round there my bil just told me only the side roads and estate are bad, the main roads are fine.

So no danger of them getting stuck after all. Phew.

thats lucky then. My dp has gone out with friends and they had to push their taxi out of the estate as it kept wheel spinning! not the start to a night that you really want. i just hope that he gets home ok, though knowing him he'll probably walk home

Our snow isnt that bad either, had afew flurries during the day and a slightly heavier one about 8ish, but have had a nightmare with the council not being able to grit roads and clear all last weeks snow.
