I've lost my i-pod.

I have no idea where it is. I've honestly not seen it since about June. I'm going into hospital to have DC3 sometime over the enxt 11 days (I'm off in on the 13th for a section but if I go into labour before than then I'm off in then...).

My slight indulgence anytime I'm in hospital is listening to various Radio 5 podcasts...but I have lost my i-pod. DH will let me borrow his, and we have an old clunky mp3 player and I can play things like that on my phone, but I should still know where my i-pod is..

It is insured, but only for damage or theft, not loss.

The last time I saw it was in the car but its definately NOT in the car (the car is very very tidy and uncluttered, the house however is not).

Oh dear, i have attached a lanyard to many of my gadgets as much easier to find.

Hope you can find it.

Try kitchen drawer or bedside table drawer. Or down side of sofa

Lifeinagoldfishbowl · 02/01/2010 12:58

I have heard of someone finding it in their boot.

We lost our telly remote once.....when telly remotes were not that small.

Took us two days to find it, by which time the batteries were a little low.

Apparently they don't like being left in the fridge - my prother (not me, honest) had put it down while grabbing something.

DaftApeth · 02/01/2010 13:10

Try to think when you last used it.

Could it be in a handbag or holdall? Coat pocket? Bedside drawer?

I last found my ipod my to do pile in a pile of papers.

i also lost my i-pod in my house before i went into labour, i had it ready with songs ect on it. never did find the bloody thing, so i now have a swanky i-touch i-pod instead. it had it's benefits of being lost.

A handbag you have not used for a while or a coat?

hbfac · 02/01/2010 14:26

I guess ... kitchen.

What did you bring in with you that day? Which rooms did you go into? did the 'phone ring as you came in? did someone ask you to do something?

Or it's been pinched.

Poor old dh was going bonkers wondering where his laptop was until it finally dawned on him that it had been purloined by a co-worker given the sack.

DaftApeth · 02/01/2010 14:31

Have you been super organised and put it in your hospital bag already?

littlestarschildminding · 02/01/2010 15:01

We lost a tv remote long enough to order a new one at great expense from the manufacturer!! It turned up very shortly after the new one arrived....

My ds has lost a nintendo ds..... It has to be downstairs somewhere as they don't take them upstairs! Our house is tiny and not cluttered in the slightest...I can't imagine where it is hiding.

123andaway · 02/01/2010 17:04

We've lost DS2's PSP - I have no idea where the thing is hiding!!!

My Ipod is an Iphone so I just call it when it goes missing!

Don't start me on the remote controls!!! We have 3 for the sky box - sometimes I can find one of them!
