One or two per child is fine but why do my kids accumalate them? And how? When we moved(in august) dd2 had 5 now she has a bed full! And she notices if they 'disappear'

I am whittling down to the essentials by putting them away and only retrieving them on request.

I have considered the Campana Bros style solution too

I hate them and never played with them as a child.Sadly the dds love cuddly things and play long imaginative games with them.So we have toybox full, plus drawer full too.

We have quite a few, and have steadily depleted them by sending some out to charity shops, etc.

Years ago, the dp and I won a whole load, well before the dcs came along. We'd have hysterically funny "teddy bear fights" where we'd stand one each end of the upstairs corridor and chuck them at each other, trying to hit. We'd be careful to just use the softest ones, and we'd end up laughing our heads off. Have occasional one with the kids, it's really funny.
