He is being such am idiot fuckwit and it's upsetting dd and making me so angry! So far he has:

?Thrown a lit firecracker just outside our yard, frightening the dog so badly that she wet herself. Fucking insensitive prick.

?Thrown a lit firecracker so that it somehow flew right into the front grille of our car and exploded under the hood. He thinks this is no big deal.

?Continued throwing his fucking firecrackers despite dd screaming and begging him to stop. "I thought she was saying 'Do it Daddy'". Conveniently he did not hear the preceding "DON'T".

?Laughed and told me that it's funny that the dog was so frightened that she nearly knocked me down getting in the house. He doesn't care. Insensitive idiot prick.

Remind me again why I am married to such a man, because at the moment I do not remember.

He sounds like an utter twat, WHY are you married to such a man? How old is he? 14?

MiladyDeWinter · 01/01/2010 00:25

How old is he?

BananaPudding · 01/01/2010 00:36

30!!!

And now dd (8) is upset with me because I have said I don't care what daddy says, you may not hold a roman candle while it is shooting.

He's mad at me because apparently "I" have ruined the night. He's just left to watch hockey at his parents house. I am supposed to be upset. Right.

He sounds charming. Hope you & DD can salvage a bit of the night. x

awastingamanger · 01/01/2010 00:40

Alcohol?

Poohbearsmom · 01/01/2010 00:41

He does sound like a twat but these men who act like stupid big kids like/need an audience my advice next time remove yourself and dd from situation and ignore him till he cops on to himself...

BananaPudding · 01/01/2010 00:52

Very little alcohol. I wish I could blame it on that. You know, the worst part is that today is our tenth anniversary of being together and I feel embarrassed that I've married such a childish prick. He's not always a childish prick. But I think that too often, he is.

He doesn't cheat, beat me or emotionally abuse me. I'm not sure if fireworks-related fuckwittery is a good reason for divorce?

fbiscuit]

MiladyDeWinter · 01/01/2010 00:59

Yes I did mean my post to look like a Santa Bra plus random [ things about fbiscuits as it happens!

Anyway. Boot him out. I had a BF who decided to let off a firework out of my window which crossed the path of a very busy road leading to the hospital. Twat.

cheesesarnie · 01/01/2010 01:00

sounds like a twunt.your poor dd.

MiladyDeWinter · 01/01/2010 01:01

how are you doing cheesesarnie?

cheesesarnie · 01/01/2010 01:07

ok,gave up on NYE and happily munched my way through twiglets and stilton.thankyou for asking.

MiladyDeWinter · 01/01/2010 01:19

No worries, sounds like a fine way to spend the evening!

cheesesarnie · 01/01/2010 01:23

oh no !?

sorry banana-have you stuck firecracker up dh's bottom?

BananaPudding · 01/01/2010 02:35

He's apologized and has come back to try to mend the evening. Good thing too. I am such a moron to love a childlike man such as this.

OP posts:
cheesesarnie · 01/01/2010 02:47

does he see what hes done wrong though?

BananaPudding · 01/01/2010 03:17

Hum....doubt it. He does seem to understand that it was quite upsetting to me and at least is seeng that as important enough to stop doing it/not do I again.

I really sometimes wonder at my judgment. Dh is the first man I ever dated, and honestly I never had this sort of idiotic problem with any of the women I dated.
