Well?

What's the point?

Even when I do stay up I'm always in bed by 12.03am.

Sensible or party pooper?

Start the new year with a spring in your step and a clear head.... sweet dreams

LittleSilver · 31/12/2009 19:01

yanbu

Fibilou · 31/12/2009 19:03

We can both go at 8.30 then , my DH is working, I'm nearly 37 weeks and have a stinky cold.

BigBadMummy · 31/12/2009 19:03

Sensible.

Do what you want to do and and not what you think you should, or what you feel is expected.

You are an adult.

Go for it baby,

Sweet dreams

ImSoNotTelling · 31/12/2009 19:03

YANBU at all.

Can't get excited about new year, it's always rubbish.

Xmas is where it's at

Pantofino · 31/12/2009 19:04

I was going to say that I might join you! Then realised that might sound a bit "odd" and it's not Friday yet!

satc2bringiton · 31/12/2009 19:06

I will be up until 3am but only because im working.

I would be in bed by 11pm if I was at home.

paulaplumpbottom · 31/12/2009 19:06

Get up really early and greet the new yaer with a crisp morning walk. You'll feel much better than most of us who will be grumbling about hangovers.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 31/12/2009 19:06

YANBU

I hate New Year and haven't stayewd awake for years except when I've worked the night shift.

I shall be in bed by 10pm.

Wiseoldelf · 31/12/2009 19:07

I'm on my own, kids are in bed; so I'm off to have a long soak with a book, then into PJ's and bed.

Been on my own quite a few times over Christmas and New Year as DP works away, so I've got use to seeing it as just another day.

We always celebrate when he's home - much better than getting pissed on my own (although will have wine in the bath too, so god knows how I'll end up!)

castlesintheair · 31/12/2009 19:08

yanbu, I shall probably be asleep on the sofa by 10pm

juneybean · 31/12/2009 19:09

YANBU might join ya once I've had my tea lol

sweetnitanitro · 31/12/2009 19:13

YANBU. DD has a tooth coming and has kept me up 2 nights in a row. Even if I was willing I wouldn't be able to stay up until midnight. It is always crap anyway, I don't want to start my year with a huge anticlimax.

ParanoidAtAllTimes · 31/12/2009 19:21

I have a seriously bad sleeper for a baby so will most certainly be in bed ASAP! Sleep is way more important than anything

bamboobutton · 31/12/2009 19:23

YANBU!

i shall be heading off to my beddybyes with a book and some choccys soon and i shall be turning the phone off so no-one wakes me up at midnight.

Bambinoloveseggbirds · 31/12/2009 19:24

YANBU. I plan to be in bed well before midnight. NYE is always a let down.

ihatetinselbob · 31/12/2009 19:27

Not at all, go to bed and get some rest, I intend to have kids and me in bed for 9 tonight. I've sent dh to a party, so I'm planning a peaceful evening, until the bloody fireworks start going off!!

Foxy800 · 31/12/2009 19:37

I'll probably be in bed early too, dp gone to a party but as we couldnt get a babysitter Im staying in so will probably be in bed early. Happy new year mumsnetters.

Fibilou · 31/12/2009 19:38

I am now in bed with a tray of sandwiches and a meringue. Feel vvv decadent !!!

Chulita · 31/12/2009 19:38

I'm 1st trimester, got a head cold and DD's teething so I'm going to be in about 20 mins - YANBU.
Sweet dreams!

Chulita · 31/12/2009 19:38

...bed... was supposed to be in that sentence somewhere

Morloth · 31/12/2009 19:44

Bed for me soon. I can't get a quality night's sleep these days so am going for quantity.

Have had stacks of new years out and about and hopefully have more to come, one won't make any difference.

SingleMum01 · 31/12/2009 19:45

I would go to bed at 10pm but reckon I'll be woken by bloody fireworks and the dog then barking.

oopsandbabycoconut · 31/12/2009 19:49

YANBU - I am off to bed at 9ish as well. DD was up at 4.30 with trapped wind and has only slept for 25mins today as everytime I got her down someone woke her up.

Picante · 31/12/2009 19:51

Night all!
