AIBU to think that sending a text like this is just asking for trouble?

I have just received the following text from a friend

"2009 is nearly over, so tell me one thing you have always wanted to tell me but have never been able to before." (then the usual crap about sending it to everyone you know etc)

I want to text back, "Your DP is an arsehole who messes you about and you are far too good for them!"

Obviously I wont, but my fingers are twitching with the want to, and I know I will not be the only one of our friends to be feeling the same!

Really not a sensible text to send on the night where most people drink more alcohol than normal

nickelbabyjesus · 31/12/2009 15:34

could you send them that message in a slightly more ambiguous way?
intonate that he's a twat by using different words?

sorry, not imaginative enough to think what you should write.

we need AF, don't we?

jasper · 31/12/2009 15:50

send it!

AMumInScotland · 31/12/2009 15:54

Send it - New Year is a great time for a few home-truths!

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 31/12/2009 15:55

Say some things are better left unsaid.

nighbynight · 31/12/2009 16:03

Dont send it - least said, soonest mended!!!
you will be glad tomorrow.

ElizabethWakefield · 31/12/2009 16:35

I can't send it! Although I think after a few drinks later someone else might.

She knows what I think, I'm sure, so no point ruining her NYE.

I do hate these texts i have had loads over the past few days, i never reply, but i was tempted with this one.

I might have to hide my phone later
