to think that 2009 was a heap of shit

sorry but feel very teary today, as looked back on 2009 and it seemed to mainly consist of the following

work worries
constant fights with DP
redundancy worries
working all the bloody time
tired all the bloody time
constant fight to keep on top of house and admin

I sound like such a negative bitch, and I love and cherish my DC more than words can say, but I really dont think that this is a great life as it stands. being in a relationshiop and a working Mum is alot harder than I thought it would be, and we are even considering having another???? FFS

am I the only person to feel like this?

I was unimpressed by this year. Big plans for 2010 though, should be good.

I'm in same situation as you only without the DP (well, seldom - he shows up occasionally). Feeling much the same as you and sharing samw worries.

Am glad 2009 is over, frankly.

Crappy year - lots of friends lost family members, more than any year i remember.

But i got a bonus baby so he makes me happy.

YANBU - 2009 can firmly F* off in my household. It delivered to us:

Loss of Pregnancy - Had to terminate due to a rare fatal condition.
Cancer - Suspected Partial Molar following pregnancy all fine now HCG back to normal.
Genetic Counselling - as fatal condition had occurred twice to us.
Bells Palsy - Where did that come from?
Car Accident - All ok but not nice to be involved in.
Emigration - Enforced move to another country for husbands work, thankfully now looks like the move is off but we had to start looking for tenants etc.

Friends and I have spoken and tonight we are going to certainly be celebrating the arrival of a fresh new start.

Roll on 2010. Things will get better.

2009 has been tough for us. Our church family has been beset quite frankly - with illness, worries, loss in pregnancy and death. Dh and I will be heaving a sigh of relief tonight. You can't be sure 2010 will be any better of course - but there's hope. 2009 will not be a year we look back on with much pleasure.

As far as i can see 2010 is going to be just as crap - probably worse. All because of what you stated porcamiseria I heard a lot of people say that 2010 is going to be better but i honestly cannot see how

2009 was so shit here too
lost my godson aged 17
my aunt
my friend aged 35 who had 2 small dc's and was the most beautiful person in every way
stress at work
put back on ad's
dd being constantly poorly and ending up in hospital on holiday
i've never felt so bloody miserable as i have this year so the sooner it's over the better
oh and now i've got a hacking cough just to finish the year as it started

My ds says that you can always tell a good year by what films come out and this year has been dreadful.Last good one was 2007 and 2010 looking hot too.The simplicity of being 15 he wishes all you miserable old womwe a HNY !

It has been pretty all over the place for us too.

Kids being signed off for some medical problems has been great but then dd needs more checks.

Another year without Great Nan

Marital problems.

Work worries for DH.

Depression getting me again.

Legal stuff being really hard work.

DD1 dx with ASD
JOb worries
Money worries
Battle for some help
2 broken down cars
3 ruined holidays (by sickness)
and I found my first grey hair!!
