Well, I think it depends on what the parents have agreed with her, and whether there are other trusted adults around.

TinselianAstra · 30/12/2009 17:20

It's the tea parties in the ceiling that you need to watch out for.

GloriaInEccentrica · 30/12/2009 17:20

whyever not? bloody health and safety beurocratic killjoy.

never did me any harm. nor me little brother neither and he actually got sucked up the nursery chimney once.

and we went on roundabouts too.

GloriaInEccentrica · 30/12/2009 17:21

and for all those vermin fox hunting facists who are around the best bit was when the fox got rescued so there.

redskyatnight · 30/12/2009 17:21

Well I presume she will have conducted a full risk assessment first? And established some basic safety requirements such as providing them with their own personal parachutes, or failing that umbrellas.

RainRainGoAway · 30/12/2009 17:22

And I bet those sweeps have not been CRB checked either.
Bloody disgrace if you ask me.

CaptainNancy · 30/12/2009 17:25

Lucky you were home to see!
I always seem to be out at my suffragette meetings when my 2 get up to things.

SantaWears2SnowShoes · 30/12/2009 17:29

trusted adults
one of them was dancing on the roof as well!!

My problem is my husband shows so little interest in the children: I am considering getting him to take them to work with him so he can bond with them.

Buddleja · 30/12/2009 17:34

think it's OK - wouldn't like her to let them jump down chimneys though. I use a cheap washing powder which just couldn't tackle the dirt.

Never mind the nanny, it's your husband you need to watch out for! I think his job is very unsafe - bankers are not popular at the moment!

catinthehat2 · 30/12/2009 17:38

Don't let her hang around with boyfriends in the chimney sweeping trade either. Children will be up on roof all the time, and they'll pick up dodgy midAtlantic accents if you are not careful.

DollyMessiter · 30/12/2009 17:40

Insist she checks the health and safety record of all local merry-go-rounds.

nannynobnobs · 30/12/2009 17:42

My husband was NOT that jolly when he got shitcanned!
