to be annoyed when my XH uses my bathroom without asking or saying

I'm divorced and I bought my XH out of our marital home, so its mine and my DS'. My XH collects my DS from my house. I have to encourage my DS to get shoes/coats etc as my XH would quite happily sit in my house for the afternoon. He wanders upstairs in my DS room/bathroom/dining room. Doesn't say where he's going, just disappears. Am I unreasonable to expect him just to collect my DS and not mooch about my house - aargh!

Have you told him you don't like it? If he knows then you're not being unreasonable. If you've never said anything about then maybe. Men can be incredibly dense. Never underestimate how dense they can be. You have to spell things out for them.

Don't let him in. Have DS ready for the time he is due to be collected.
My XP picks up in his car and waits by the gate!
Or you will just have to tell him you do not want him to wander around your house.

Totally agree with the dense comment! I told him last time he picked DS up about wandering round my house. He just gets a face on and tells me I'm unreasonable. I don't like to row in front of DS but I think its going to happen.

They can be sooooo dense. My ex-H currently has a cob on because I have said he can't bring his new GF into my house

Agree you should have ds ready as he hasn't got the message.

I think because I'm polite in front of my DS he thinks I actually still like him! He was a very selective memory and doesn't seem to recall the shit he put me through for years.

Tell your ex to wait in the car and give a little toot, you will send ds out when he does.

Wish it was that easy. DS can't understand why daddy can't see him here. DS is quite a homebird and likes to be at home. I struggle enough to get him to get ready to go. I don't feel I can say to my DS I don't want his dad in my house.

I'll give it a go, would be great not to see XH at all!

my ex got a bag on because I would let him bring his new girlfriend of 3 weeks to shag in my bed sleep in my house while I was away for the night.
