It was only £10 in Currys.

Surely it is up to her how she uses it. She could make a low fat yoghurt based chocolate sauce and dip fruit in it.

InMyLittleHead · 26/12/2009 18:06

haha

snigger · 26/12/2009 18:07

Did you dangle it from the end of a treadmill?

Northernlebkuchen · 26/12/2009 18:09

Don't see what the problem is? Are obese people forbidden to eat chocolate then?

beyondfurious · 26/12/2009 18:12

Nope, not being unreasonable at all

i'm a fatty, I'd have liked one

coldtits · 26/12/2009 18:18

Depends whether or not she likes chocolate.

Only 10 quid in Curry's?!

I'm sooo there.

I've been wanting a chocolate fountain for donks. I really have.

I'm not obese, though.

hippipotamiHasLost77lbs · 26/12/2009 18:44

Not unreasonable at all - up to her to use it responsibly.

But bleurgh at the thought of a chocolate fountain though, I always loved the idea until I read somewhere that in order for the chocolate to stay liquid so it can run through the fountain copious amounts of vegetable oil are used - and the ratio of oil to chocolate is quite scary and not in favour of the chocolate apparently... [shudder]

Doesn't he realise that those are made for crazy cat ^ladies, a group from which you are automatically excluded by not being a spinster (or someone's 'maiden aunt')?

nothingofthesort · 26/12/2009 18:49

Well if she's obese and not just a little plump then yes YABU.

TinselianAstra · 26/12/2009 18:59

Sorry, wrong thread.

If she's actively trying to lose weight then it's not the kindest present in the world.

Chocolate fountains only ever get used once anyway, they're a bugger to clean and require too much chocolate. Much better just to eat the chocolate.

Miggsie · 26/12/2009 19:05

You can save up and get her a gastric band for her 21st
