DHs family have just left. Hooray thought they'd be here for hours. Is it unreasonable to put on my jimmers and slide into slobdom at 5 pm? For my part now, all Christmas catering on a grand scale is over.

Actually am going to do it now, even if it is unreasonable!!

My guests left at about 10.00 ish this morning, so I got a bath (had washed my face and brushed teeth when I got up), put my clean pj's on and have done nothng much all day (apart from put my tablecloths and tea towels on to wash and handwash a couple of items that DS2 wore yesterday), I have slaved for the last two days and I said I was going to have a day off today.

You are NU!

abbierhodes · 26/12/2009 17:20

It's boxing day, you shouldn't have got dressed at all! 'Tis the law in my house!!!

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 17:21

I have also said I'm not cooking tomorrow, but we are going to the rugby so god knows what we'll eat.

no of course it's ok?

Wanderinginawinterwonderland · 26/12/2009 17:22

Put your PJs ON at 5pm?!? Shame on you, it's boxing day and you should have been wearing them for most of the day!

I will let you off though, as you have had guests.

My ILs are coming in a minute otherwise I would be in mine!

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 17:23

Sadly we had outlaws inlaws coming or wouldn't have bothered!

oooh definately not unreasonable. Been in pjs all day, took them off at 4.30 to have a bath, just to put on clean ones.

I even left them on when my aunt and her OH visited earlier

And didnt even occur to be to be embarrased.

But I'm 36 weeks pregnant so thats ok, isnt it???

JannerBird · 26/12/2009 17:53

MIL still here so no PJs for me unfortunately. Do you think anyone would notice if I put them on UNDER my clothes?

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 17:55

Not at all jannerbird. You could blame your extra padding look on too many mincepies!

ISawTortoiseFuckingSantaClaus · 26/12/2009 17:56

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 17:58

Barbielovesken I rckon at 36 weeks you really can do what you like!!

OP posts:
oldraver · 26/12/2009 17:58

Janner.. could you change into one bit of you pj's.... I bet no one would notice. Some of my pj tops are like long sleeved t-shirts, I think its only tha garish pink plaid bottoms that give them away

mustrunmore · 26/12/2009 17:59

All threee of us been in pyjamas all day. No, I tell a lie, ds2 was in just slippers for a while

BarbieLovesKen · 26/12/2009 18:03

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 18:11

Um, good for you. A little TMI though.

TinselianAstra · 26/12/2009 19:07

Sorry, wrong thread.

I don't really understand what's so so so amazing about pyjamas though.

brightwell · 26/12/2009 19:08

I put my pj's on at exactly 4.30, as soon as I was officially no longer on-call. Iplan on doing the same tomorrow.

PirateCatintheXmasHat · 26/12/2009 19:15

nope not unreasonable.

i goto back from being at my mate's house, and did the same.

i am so so tired!! This is the only time in the year when i eat two large lunches in a row tho, maybe that has something to do with it.

Actually i could prob fall asleep right now, b4 dd has gone to bed!

JingleAllTheWay · 26/12/2009 19:21

Tinselinanastra

You need to wear pjs in the day from time to time to apprecite how lush it can be!!
