To sit on the toilet with my laptop?

So i get bored in there, i take my laptop and MN (some people take a book/magazine) these things take time (especially after a HUGE christmas dinner)

Anyway, ds2 (aged 3) has just came in while i was sitting there, with his new toy laptop, and sat on his potty, and said 'i am having a poo, i am going to stay here for 10 mins'

In theory no different to taking a book/magazine.

But you are in effect talking to people while pooing.

Trill i talk to you all the time while doing the deed, you are none the wiser, usually

Lol....love this thread. I do it all the time ....laptop, mobile phone, house phone.......who wants my number????

TBH its the only "me" time I get LOL

issysmilkbottle · 26/12/2009 20:16

I do it with my phone, nokia thing that enables me to connect to internet! Even in the bath, although I did drop it once...

Its the only place you can get peace sometimes in this house!

nannynick · 26/12/2009 20:34

Yep, happens all the time. Just don't use any applications that use the microphone or webcam!

issysmilkbottle - does the phone still work after a dunking in bath water? I've tried watching iplayer on my laptop whilst in the bath before, though didn't put the laptop too near the bath just in case it fell in.

Now that computers are becoming far more mobile, not surprised more of us are mumsnetting from the small room in the house
