to want to let our landlord know the kitchen ceiling is leaking

from the bathroom directly above the kitchen? DH says not to bother our landlord on Christmas day. I say what if the ceiling collapse - argument follows.

We've had the same here and the agents couldn't give two hoots. Bet the owners do when they get the bill!!!

i spoke to the landlord (who has been GREAT the 5 years we've been here) and he will be over tomorrow to have a look. he is in Kent now and we are in Surrey.

i have no idea why DH thinks that it could wait! i am terrified the the ceiling will collapse.
