thanx - yes should be doin more important stuff - writing the letter to DCs for FC but blardy laptop has corrupted last year's letter.

Can you quickly rustle up something for him along the lines of-
romantic meal in
candlelit bath
evening in bed

etc

Then make him feel guilty for going back on his word tuttut.

Hmmm, chaostrulyreindeers (love the name!) will think about those ideas and play on the guilt thing! Only in jest mind. I just feel really caught out and a meanie! Still nothing I can do now......just need to do the kids stocking and then bed.

Went for the "it's in the post" option! Will probably go shopping in the next few days and will get something then.

DH and I also agreed no presents this year but he's bought me a beautiful Hobbs scarf. I bought him a tea-pot and a syringe to inject butter into the Christmas Turkey (yes - sounds appalling but if you knew my DH - he has Heston Blumenthal like aspirations.....)

Just relax, and enjoy your Christas. Just give him an extra good seeing to tonight when the kids have gone to bed!
