He does this every year. After days of nagging gentle reminders, he finally wraps his presents and puts them under the tree. But he doesn't put any labels on, he insists that he knows which is which just by looking (and to be fair, he generally does).

This really annoys me. DH assures me that its perfectly normal to leave them unlabelled, and even if its not, he loves that it winds me up every year. So I told him he was going on AIBU. So AIBU to be annoyed?

YANBU, although I generally don't bother to label, and assert that I can tell which is which by feeling and usually can. I also did all my xmas shopping in one day, which was yesterday [checks pants for penis]

LOL, we didn't label presents this year as DS can read now and the couple that have been labelled (from other people) have been subjected to much scrutiny and guesswork (but no touching!).

Much more fun to torture each other IMO.

my DH never labels anything either!! he insists that he can tell what belongs to who but he has in the past given his dad a girls present etc i do the wrapping now and label everything i dont label his presents or DDs so they cant peek but i do know which is which by the feel of the prezzies

I don't always label ones that go under our tree for DP and the DC.

If they have names on the DC will spend ages trying to guess whats in them. If they don't have names on its not half as tempting for them as they have no idea which is theirs to poke, prod,shake etc
