.....need to go shopping. DS1 and DS2 being very unhelpful (rather watch TV/play on WII). Got wrapping to do, DH is working (as ever), car iced up. Got to the point where it's all too difficult and I've given up. Roll on New Year - I can't be doing Christmas.

Hear, hear! Am sick of the sight of it all and it hasn't even happened yet! I always think it's a bit like child birth, you're knackered because of labour (ie Christmas build-up) and then have to find energy to push (ie do Christmas Day)! If I never see another shop/shopper again it'll be too soon!

I hate christmas. Can't wait until its all over!

bah humbug. I'm having the worst, as ds has bronchitis, we're all stuck at home, I can't do anything festive, dh is at work, I think the snow will ruin our holiday plan which means leaving on christmas day anyway. We've recently moved 2000 miles and I've few friends. It's totally sad. I actually booked flights today for a holiday in August 2010 so I can have something to look forward to properly for months.

Still not gone out.......might venture out later (on my own) - 5 minutes peace and quiet.

Agree about the MN holiday idea - FAB!

Feel free to post about non-Christmas related stuff! It's DS1's birthday on 30th December - not even given that a thought yet!
