I find it v bizarre when people (usually women) go on about how she isn't that attractive really, too thin etc. Surely it is jealousy? Her face is literally perfect. Voice slightly annoying though.

OP posts:
VerityBrulee · 23/12/2009 14:39

I know a close relative of KK and if you look at their old family photos you will see a striking family resemblance - they are all very thin on her dads side. AFAIK she took legal action against a newspaper which described her as anorexic, and won.

VerityBrulee · 23/12/2009 14:42

She is also very nice BTW and not at all bitchy like many on this thread

catbus · 23/12/2009 14:43

Scrawny, monotonous, acting dire. Pouts with the same wodden expression endlessly. No jealousy (apart from her probable income) as it's people like this that make me feel bladdy gawjaaarrrs!!!

LaurieFairyonthetreeeatscake · 23/12/2009 14:43

Definitely not a perfect face. Too square, too much jaw and a bit too much pout.

For perfection in the facial area perhaps Cheryl Cole, Eva Mendes, Penelope Cruz all beat her?

catbus · 23/12/2009 14:44

oops I meant wooden! And am not being bitchy, just honest!!

Eve4Walle · 23/12/2009 14:44

She is quite pretty but very thin - more thin now than in the first POTC film.

However, I can't watch her now without being reminded of her voice in Love Actually - how annoying was that?

Sure she's lovely though.

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 14:45

"mq - i was referring to your comment that there is no such thing as too thin, that's not an opinion as being too thin can kill you."

well no if you actually read my post rather than screaming bullshit i never said there is no such thing as too thin. i was very careful to put in the caveat that when people say someone is too thin it is "normally" not true because i recognise that being too thin in the extreme to the point where it does do serious damage to ones health or can kill is a problem but in general when talking about film stars and celebrities people say they are too thin when they are not skinny to the extent that it will place there life in danger.
KK for example is not so thin as to place her life in danger.

DisElfchanted3 · 23/12/2009 14:47

I don't think shes pretty at all and she IS way too thin.

She looks like her breath would smell of strong coffee and beef monster munch.

msrisotto · 23/12/2009 14:49

ok mq, i misunderstood, you obviously have a lovely, well adjusted opinion on womens bodies.....

catbus · 23/12/2009 14:50

Why beef? Not pork scratchings?

DisElfchanted3 · 23/12/2009 14:51

she looks like a slim toned teenage boy in that bikini photo, weird that women would want to look that way,

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 14:53

because i find thin women more attractive? yep obviously such a preference means i'm a mysoginistic oppressor who's sole aim is to give every woman i know body issues and turn every teenager into a walking eating disorder.
could be that or it could be that i simply stated a preference for thin women on a thread were a lot of people seemed to be stating an opposite preference.

msrisotto · 23/12/2009 14:54

brink of death thin
sexy

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 14:55

i also don't get how you are having a go with me effectively agreeing with you. I agreed there is such a thing as too thin if it effects your health and was quite careful to say so from the beginning. You decided to ignore this fact and decide that i said there is no such thing as too thin and point out that it can affect ones health negatively. i once again agree with you and somehow you take this as me having some warped opinions on womens bodies.
why?because i agreed with you ?

ThumbleBells · 23/12/2009 14:56

I used to be that thin naturally. I was not anorexic, despite my Mum hoping that was the case (she was v. overweight herself) and I ate a lot more than just an apple a day, although I didn't eat a huge amount. However, I was not "weight watching", I just ate what I wanted to and it was the way I was at a certain age. As I got older, I put on more weight and am now well-covered, but not big. It is possible to be thin without being ill, either mentally or physically.

PuppyMonkey · 23/12/2009 14:56

I think she is very pretty, but I think she has a very odd smile that makes her look q.unattractive. Which is a bit weird isn't it, because most people look nice when they smile?

Bewler · 23/12/2009 14:58

PMSL at that bit in Love Actually when she's watching the wedding video and says "oh bingo-h!" like the queen at a Mecca Club on a Friday night

MegSophandEmma · 23/12/2009 15:02

"Kate Winslet beats her in looks, acting talent and figure any day"

Now yes, there is a beautiful women.

mrmellors · 23/12/2009 15:04

YANBU to think she's stunning. Although I don't agree.

YABU to think that anyone who disagrees with you must be jealous. It's a matter of personal preference.

msrisotto · 23/12/2009 15:07

We're not agreeing though mq, because what you said:
when people say someone is too thin it is "normally" not true because i recognise that being too thin in the extreme to the point where it does do serious damage to ones health or can kill is a problem but in general when talking about film stars and celebrities people say they are too thin when they are not skinny to the extent that it will place there life in danger
I fundamentally disagree with you as many many many female celebrities are thin enough for it to cause health problems and have mental health issues such as anorexia/bulimia to go with it. Kiera may be that thin naturally, i don't doubt it but I can think of a multitude of celebs who have dieted down to that size and it is unhealthy for them. I don't think we're going to agree here.

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 15:08

"Kate Winslet beats her in looks, acting talent and figure any day"

Oh God no. possibly in acting talent but as for looks not even close and as for the figure i'd still take KK.

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 15:10

well no i don't think we will due mainly to your weird and frankly offensive views on womens bodies.

msrisotto · 23/12/2009 15:12

If my view that brink of death thin bodies are unattractive are offensive to you then that isn't my shining beacon of an issue tbh.

ImSoNotTelling · 23/12/2009 15:14

I'm with msrisotto on this.

"saying someone is too thin is like saying someone is too rich. It's normally not true and doesn't happen very often.
But then again I'm into thin in a big way."

Normally when people observe that people are too thin, it is because they are. (it doesn't happen very often" is ridiculous.

mayorquimby · 23/12/2009 15:16

i was being facetious due to your earlier assertation that me somehow having a preference for women with a figure such as KK who you don't doubt is naturally that thin is somehow an indication that i have issues with womens bodies.
