Poor thing. At least you should be exchanged and done by Christmas. Our vendor was a total PITA. Wouldn't exchange until we'd agreed to pay an extra $250 for some useless tat quality furniture. On the date of completion he vanished with the only set of keys until the EA tracked him down at 6pm and we moved in to find he hadn't actually removed a lot of his furniture and had filled a skip he'd told the hire co we'd pay for.

I took great pleasure in making sure all the utility cos/ loan cos and everything else he thought he'd skipped out on had the correct forwarding address.

I had to reply as we exchanged and completed on our new house today, I was in work inpatiently waiting for DH to text to let me know it had all gone through and I only had to wait until 2.30. It must be so fustrating waiting not able to do anything about it.
