it is wise for there is always a nasty one at the end of the first layer and to avoid it one must explore the second layer and then replace said nasty from first layer into second layer so no-one knows you have switched layers

No, no, no, no! You must finish the first layer first, otherwise you'll end up with 2 lots of the nasty ones.

everyone must have a dc who will eat the nasty ones though, especially if you say no other chocs will be openeed until these are finished.

those rock hard impossible-to-chew caramel squares are good candidates to demote to the layer below imo.

I do! and i even "sort" it if DH has squished it from the middle.......

do you also pair socks while wet when you are hanging them out?

I never finish a layer of chocs before starting the next (see earlier post by moi) and will happily shove the remaining top layer chocs into the second layer to replace the new ones I have already scoffed but I do admit to pairing socks when they are wet

both activities give me a great sense of satisfaction

No, I have to wear odd socks, and panic if i can only find a pair. But I love turkish delight
