aaaaaaargh! i've been waiting in since 12pm for a delivery which i've now been told will definitely be with me by 8....is it unreasonable to expect them to deliver within a SIX HOUR TIME SLOT???

The last time we had something delivered by them I was told it would be between 12 and 6pm and it came at 5.55pm. We sat in all day and had to take it in turns to leave the house!

YABU if you have as much snow as us then you are lucky to be getting a delivery

if its not that bad then YANBU, cos argos are crap in my epxerience

You know they will turn up at 7.59pm don't you....

the snow's not bad at all....i mean i appreciate that it's christmas and all that, but being stuck in doors with a one year old all day has been a serious test of my patience. don't they care!

Would you be going out now? If not, just get on with what you would normally do and be grateful they are still delivering.

I know it is a pain to stay in but that is the down side of having things delivered.

Argos home delivery is, IME, absolute RUBBISH!

We used them 5 yrs ago when we moved house and everything they could mess up, they did; bits of furniture missing, missing the time slot for delivery - twice, bed with the wrong size slats, and a complaints procedure so arduous and soul destroying that I had to give up in the end for the sake of my mental health.

Will never, never order from them again.

it's here now. ofcourse, i totally can't be arsed to assemble my flat pack furniture at 9 o'clock.
