Went to visit an acquaintance yesterday.
Many people have long suspected that her dh is actually gay, and in denial.
Oh how I laughed to see that he had a new mug from a foody fair (he's a chef) that had written across it "I Love Sausage"
I don't know how I kept a straight face

do you know he is gay for sure?

a bit mean to laugh at something like that imho.

carocaro · 18/12/2009 12:07

even it if was, I don't think it is at all funny.

RainRainGoAway · 18/12/2009 12:07

I just chuckled. Whether gay or not it is just a bit amusing.

He is very, very camp, but also very aware of what everyone thinks of him. He will only read very macho books, has told his ds's that they will be in the army/RAF. He sends his dw pornographic cards that are not appropriate on any level, particularly when their dc's will see them. He just seems to be trying too hard to be hetero, IYSWIM? (although without knowing them yourselves, I will probably get flamed for this anyway!)

He and his wife are not nice people at all.
Normally I wouldn't find this that funny, but because of who they are, I can't stop grinning at it!

I can see why you laughed but the fact that she is amrried to someone who si 'secretly' gay is not remotely amusing.
Have been there with my parents and trust me, laughing is the last thing I feel like doing.

Bigbadmummy · 18/12/2009 12:24

maybe she knows deep down.

Maybe it was an arrangement to get kids... I have heard of stranger situations. or maybe I just watch too many soaps.

Its a funny mug though.
