regarding professional photos of DS?

Not quite sure if its an AIBU but I know I will get responses here.

I had some photos done of DS yesterday in a studio. It was the last voucher from the Bounty pack so I thought I'd use it, planning on only having the free photo. Well obviously they took some really nice ones so I bought some. When I was looking at the ones to pick, my DS was getting very fidgety and I hurried. They said I had until they closed (8pm) to phone back and order some more if I wanted as they are cheaper on the day.

I had a good long look at home and chose some more that I really really liked. I then spent 2 hours trying to phone which they were engaged the whole time. By the time I got through, they were closed. Not the price has really shot up. Do I phone them this morning and explain, of just pay the higher price for the one photo that I really really like? I love photos and always think that you are never going to get that again as they change so fast, plus studio photos always turn out amazing and no matter how hard you try, you can never get the same with your own camera.

So AIBU to ask them if I can still have the same day price? Should I just pay more for the one photo I want, or should I just leave it all together? BTW, the same day price would have been another 5 photos for £30, now they are £15 each!

YANBU, the photo's won't cost them any more to process so why should they charge you more? I hate it when companies use this tactic to make you buy things on the day.

I hate it too! Especially when you are trying to choose when you have a 22 month old running around the room desperate to escape etc.

Anyone have any advice? I need to phone or not to phone very soon.

I would explain but if they won't budge then just stick to the one you like. It is a total con, this industry is quite wicked.

tell them straight that you could not get through to them yesterday, and you want them at yesterdays price or not at all. Be firm but polite and you should get them. If they keep saying how much they are now, just keep repeating you want them at yesterdays price or won't be taking any.
