OP I was just about to post the same. I went out and the temptation to make snowballs was great, but alas, noone to throw them at. All my lot are in bed and I don't want to risk their wrath by chucking snowballs at their heads.

I love virgin snow - its so pretty looking out of my window atm.

I can share some of mine Nevergoogle. We have loads and am actually worried that I will be cut off from civilisation in the morning!

If it turns to ice overnight I am buggered - we live in the country and the farmer hasnt gritted the downhill, windey lane outside my house.

DH is a trucker (no, he doesnt have hairy hands and his name is not Dave) and he's hoping he will be sent home from work tomorrow because of the roads here so he can snowball fight the dc's. Bit worried if he has to drive an artic lorry on the roads round here - the gritters just dont seem to have appeared anywhere.

You clearly don't live where I do. We have snow alright, about 2 inches but its drifting owing to the Siberian wind which is taking temperatures down to WELL below freezing, and the trees are swaying like mad outside.

I definately DO NOT want to go out in THAT!
