BO? surely it takes a few days of not washing for the bacteria to build up and smell that bad. And surely, a doctor should know about personal hygiene. I had a bad chest infection and asthma, couldn't breath as it was and trying to hold my breath while she examined my chest.

It doesn't take a few days with some people, she may have just not washed that day and forgotten deodorant as well. I'd be pretty fragrant if I did that.

I have been known to smell a bit whiffy in the armpit area by the afternoon when wearing clean clothes abd having showered that morning

My old GP used to reek of the whisky he used to wash the valium down with.

In my limited experience, doctors seem to be a hotbed of bad breath, appalling bedside manner, sweatiness and rudeness.

Yes!! a female! sorry, not making assumptions at all, just that she and her room reeked. Just going by my own body, would take at least 5 days of sweating and not washing to smell that bad. I am changing surgeries anyway, not bacause of that lol, but her general attitude to my well being.
