Where I work I have always been the odd one out. My other colleagues are always making fun of me and giving me a hard time because im different to them. They always make comments about the way I look and my boss never pulls them up on this. They never let me play football with them on my lunch break or include me in conversations.
Now all of a sudden my boss wants me to lead our big event on christmas eve..... even though he has never stuck up for me when the others have been picking on me.
To make matters worse now Im going to be team leader they all want to be my friend and are sucking up to me.

Just all seems to fake and I feel like telling my boss to stuff his job.

So AIBU?

why are they sucking up?

RainRainGoAway · 17/12/2009 18:48

It's Blitzen that is the worst of them. Him and Prancer are looking at a verbal warning if they aren't careful.

VinegarTinselTits · 17/12/2009 18:49

TheOddOneOut · 17/12/2009 18:50

i would make sure Dasher accidently knocks himself into a chimmey top, blame your inexperienced driving

SolidGoldpiginablanket · 17/12/2009 18:59

Look, agree on the job but before you set off, have a big strength building supper of curried sprouts. Remember, you'll be at the front...

Theoddoneout - I'm married to your boss and we take a blooody dim view of you dissing your job on Mnet. Get back to the stable you brazen hussy and be glad it isn't you getting stuck in the chimneys!
