Am I being unreasonable in finding constant pop -ups of things I looked at following me around the net?

Last week I was trying to buy my daugher some knicks - they didn't have her size - but what do you know.. three pairs of knicks followed me around on other sites.

Then I bought a steamer. But M&S wouldn't have that - three steamers stalked me around other sites.

However, I think I've found a way out.

I looked at thre nice men in jumpers on the M&S site - and I'm now being happily followed around by them.

OLI do this too and I wouldn't mind but i've bought the bloody boots now and they're still following me!

YANBU, this really annoys me too! Office and Blacks also do it. It does catch your attention though because you think 'ooh, I was looking for one of those the other day, that's exactly what I need!' It's awful that they are allowed to store/record your browsing history like that though, especially when you haven't even bought anything from them.

Ys - It's true!

The things you bought follow you around as well... It will be the things that you thought of next

I play Scrabble on the net and I'm just trying to concentrate to find a seven letter word - when up pop three pairs of knickers.

I've grown quite accustomed to my three handsome men in jumpers though.

Beats Three Kings anyday.

The annoying thing is that it's the last three things you look at, so I'll have to find another set of 'Men in Jumpers' that I don't intend to buy - next time I visit M&S.
