I had an email from A, an old friend last night. Haven't heard from her for a while and the last I knew she and her 2 adopted children were in a chilly English village having been left for another woman by her husband, who was spectacularly unkind to her. He posted messages on FB saying that his new wife to be was expecting a baby, how at least she could give him a child and that unlike their DC this one would be his own. Understandably, A was devastated and has gone through hell.
I was SO happy to read that now A has a new partner, whom the children love and respect and who idolises them all, that she plans to marry him in the New Year and that she has now moved to a nicer place.
I'm a bit jealous though.... cos she is now living in....
