Ah, but do you notice his haircuts? I never notice DH's, which annoys the hell out of him .

AnnieLobeseder · 10/12/2009 19:57

Short answer? Yes. He's a man, They don't notice stuff.

My dh tries really hard to remember when I've said I'm going to the hairdressers, but once I had to cancel the appointment, and when I saw dh next he complimented me on how it looked.

At least he tries!!

purplepeony · 10/12/2009 20:05

bloody men- I actually told the stylist that it would be at least 3 days before he said something like " your hair loooks a bit different..."

I was only joking, but I guess I was right....

Of course YABU!

And tbh, the people in the place are hardly going to tell you it looks awful are they?

Well I took a day of work yesterday and went to the city and spent a FORTUNE on having my hair cut and lightend.

Thankfully DH AND amazingly DS1and 2 noticed and thought it was great. However went to work today and no one noticed. These are people that every now and again we pull chairs into the centre of the room and have a chat. People in admin who I talk to a lot didn't notice. This is odd. The day before I had gone to work 'dressed up' because I had an appointment outside work and everybody said something. I got comments such as 'got an interview then?' or 'enteringthe yumy mummy competition? all good spirited. Bit 3 inches off my hair and a different colour and it looks great and not a dicky bird
