To be still up when others are asleep

Should I go outside and shout loudly to wake everyone up? Would it make me feel better?

doubt it - you might get lobbed with someone's slipper

any reason you feel you shoudn't still be up? I find it peaceful and calming to be up when others are asleep

shouldn't
doh, that shows I should be in bed asleep myself

Ture, it is quiet, maybe that's why I have an urge to shout. I will stay calm and not encourage a clobbering with a slipper.

I;m up but then is the baby i'm looking after, as is mum who is feeding her. Why shouldn't you be up? will you be shouty and grouchy in the morning?

isnowsoonenough · 09/12/2009 23:47

I am mostly shouty and grouchy, so no change.

well then, no need to chastise yourself for still being up!
I, on the other hand, really shouldn't be up as I know I will snap and snip in the morning and spend all day wondering when it's bedtime again!
isnowsoonenough - have you been doing something enjoyable with your time of calm (aside from MNing of course)?

isnowsoonenough · 09/12/2009 23:53

drinking wine and ... thinking I should go to bed.
must be off IAM, it's been nice chatting.

Not BU at all. But then I'm an insomniac who rarely ever gets to sleep before 2am. This is early!
