to think Tesco is being ridiculous limiting number of Kinder eggs one can buy in one transaction.

Just tried to add 25 kinder eggs to my shopping list.

No, I am not a chocoholic, but we are having ds1 and ds2's birthday party this week and we wanted to do an egg and spoon race.

AIBU to think that Tesco should really not protect ourselves from ourselves? How much damage can one do with 25 Kinder eggs?

It is ridiculous I agree. You can only buy 99 sprouts or beans too. What if I needed more??

Lapsedrunner · 09/12/2009 19:57

How bizzare

thisisyesterday · 09/12/2009 19:57

haha yes, if you go instore they will only allow you to buy 10 of something i think

yet another reason not to shop with thme

ElizabethWakefield · 09/12/2009 19:59

Maybe they only hold limited stock of them (outwith Easter ) and know they wouldn't be able to fulfill your order?

Egg and spoon races sound like fun!!

kindersurprise · 09/12/2009 20:01

YABU

And I would like to state that using myself and my siblings for an egg and spoon race is cruel and heartless.

How would you like to be dropped from a great height?

Last time I had to do this someone stood on me, it was very sore.

Honneybunny · 09/12/2009 20:02

am now going to try occado.
or maybe we should have sprout and spoon race??

Can you buy 9 packs of three instead? Less likely to break?

Honneybunny · 09/12/2009 20:02

hahah
ROFL
i am ever so sorry kinder.

Yes, absolutely

Use the sprouts. No bugger likes them anyway.

BexieID · 09/12/2009 20:05

It's just so that theres stock available for other customers. If you need more than 10 of anything, you need to place a customer order, which is also a bit silly if you're buying on-line though.

Honneybunny · 09/12/2009 20:05

ha
thanks grumpypants! that it does allow, want to shop at tesco as we just got some vouchers in the mail.

well done - and that's two for you as well!

RJRabbit · 09/12/2009 20:14

Eeeeeew don't do an egg and spoon race! A girl in my class at school had a glass eye: result of an egg and spoon race accident.

Lovecat · 09/12/2009 20:27

Try Lidl - they usually do 3 packs of them and don't care how many you buy! (I bought 30 there for DD's pirates n' princesses party treasure hunt)
