Evidently have been single too long but there's just something nice about him. He's great with my very active DS and just very nice all round.

Oh and he may be gay... but other than that AIBU?

OT?

JollyPirate · 09/12/2009 18:02

Occupational Therapist.

Is he over 18? Hmm OK I'll make that 21.

Then no

And if he's gay then it's your still not - it's just unfortunate

Morloth · 09/12/2009 18:06

Nothing to do with being single I am afraid. DS's sports teacher is fine.

caramelwaffle · 09/12/2009 18:11

Yanbu. is he over 18? 21? Single!!?? Ask him for a date. Go on. Go on! -report- -back-

caramelwaffle · 09/12/2009 18:12

Darned strikeout did'nt work. REPORT BACK

Buddleja · 09/12/2009 18:13

Oh yes meant to add as Morloth said nothing to do with being single. I fancy the pants off one of the teachers in DS1's school. He's fine!!!

Yes - go on ask him out!!!

sparklefrog · 09/12/2009 18:14

YANBU

pennyrain · 09/12/2009 18:31

I had inappropriate thoughts about the Dr who delivered my son..by forceps and cut me from arse to elbow..suspect he was gay though....

JollyPirate · 09/12/2009 20:04

Am LOL at pennyrain.....

Yeah - I may ask him out....

... I get the impression he is single - he was asking DS about the pantomime the school went to today and said he'd been to the pantomime on Monday. I asked him if he had children cos I wanted to check out if he was spoken for and he said no but that he had been with his bowls group .

Will send him an Xmas card - I can do this - he's and OT and I'm a HV in a different clinic so I contact OT regularly anyway (although have not come across him before).

Will report back.

PS. How do I cope with the sheer mortification if he turns me down? Oh have deffo been single for too long.

its great living with an ot they are so organised! mines doing the ironing now !

JollyPirate · 09/12/2009 22:12

Hmm! Not sure I want to just move him in... just pluck up the courage to ask him out.

However.....

OP posts:
MsHighwater · 09/12/2009 23:16

Maybe it's just the male OTs who iron. I am a (female) OT and I hate ironing and avoid it whenever possible.

JollyPirate · 10/12/2009 06:38

Oh no MsHighwater - you have just ruined all my fantasies.

Might ring him today and ask him to a New Years Eve party.......

YANBU. I harbour fantasies about what I'd like to do with dd's piano teacher. He has lovely hands

PirateCatintheXmasHat · 10/12/2009 09:32

another pirate here with fantasies of the young vet we had to see the other day.

'sighs'!!

BibiThree · 10/12/2009 09:55

I positively swoon when DDs eye doctor walks into the room. He is young and handsome and knowledgeable and so, so charming with dd I fantasise about running away with him all the time. DH doesn't see why I like him so much, but conceeded to give me a pass if eye Dr ever asked me out

Ask him out and please report back so us married ladies can live vicariously through you
