To hate blue Christmas lights?

Ok not the end of the world, but they are everywhere this year.

Ok - they are elegant/ pretty etc. But they are NOT Christmassy. Christmas is about warm colours - reds/ golds/ greens/ yellows etc. When it's cold, drab and drizzly, the warm colours brighten the place.

The blue lights just seem so cold and yuk. Snow Queen and cold, not Christmas!!

YABU - I think they have their place in the grand scheme of all things Christmas.

Reds, golds and greens may 'warm' a setting but blue gives a lovely, frosty Xmas feel.

I just think they are ugly. And I'm someone who likes the fully decked out houses - good on anyone who can go to that effort!!

yanbu - i love all the warm christmassy colours, red green gold. blue is a bit too cold for me
