to think that Facebook is not that bad?

I like facebook, most of the time. I can keep in touch with friends and family who don't live nearby much easier. But I get the impression on MN that it is not popular. Was wondering why?

I like it too - am much more connected with what is going on in the lives of my nieces and nephews, plus old friends who I just didn't keep in touch with otherwise (being pants at it on both sides). I don't have random not-really-friends, or people that I was at school with and don't like
