Took my boys to santas groto last week, had a really lovely visit. just recieved the photo from the visit and its not my DC'ren, and the email states all photos are deleted once sent (ironically) for child protection. Would love to know who now has pictures of my boys and would love to return the one I have to the other Mum... really hacked off!!! Will ring them tomorrow AS i want to make them aware how dangerous their carelessness could be for themselves with child protection laws!

That is one bad elf!

TBH I dont think its as bad as your making out - its a picture of 3 children with santa??

Mistakes happen - move on.

I dont really think the imagaes themselves being 'out there' is a big deal.. I think for any organisation, who regularly deal with children, making mistakes with the ditribution is a problem.. but more than that I just want my picture of our youngests first trip to see Santa .

YANBU It cost me 7quid to take dd to see santa today, shes 20months and her first time. I thought a picture would be included in the price but it was an extra £6. I couldn't not buy it. I felt robbed.
It is more the fact that pictures are crossed and people don't have their los with Santa rather than any pervs that might be looking at them. There are plenty of things more to paedos taste to be found on the web than kids with Snata

I totally understand where u are coming from, however theres a good chance that your pics are with the other family and you have every chance of getting them back, however if they are lost forever you could always demand a free revisit and tell your dcs that santa has an extra present just for them.

Also, there are ways for the company to retrieve deleted photos from digital media as long as they haven't ben written over as I was very lucky to discover

Mine are all backed up now in three places and very unlikely to be lost again

I can understand your annoyance at losing the pic of your dc with santa especially the first visit but if its just a simple mix up the other mum wont want pics of your dc so maybe the elf can arrange a 'swap'?

Ask for a free visit for new free pictures to be taken. I would be so
