...to not want people to be rude when you ask for advice. People on MN basically.

Like the title says. I have posted and read many comments that are very very rude on here when people are just asking for a bit of advice. I wouldn't talk to people like it in RL so why do people do it on here? Are they really that rude or feel they can say it as no one knows who they are?

Ok so some posts maybe a but daft but there is no need to say some of the comments that I have read.

Wow!! I am amazed at how many posts this has got. And it makes for interesting reading. I also realised I should have worded the title SOME people on MN as I do think that most people give great advice and some of it is just plain funny. My DH keeps complaining though that I'm getting obsessed. I just find it very interesting to know about others lives. Does that make me sad?

I think some people refresh AIBU all day long just itching to have someone to be vile and nasty to so they can vent ther RL frustrations. I honestly believe this. I have said so many times on AIBU.

However, honest advice is very different and sometimes people do not want to hear it and take offence.

If you think 'oh dear God someone wants advice on this topic again' then simply don't post someone who does want to give advice/an opinion will soon come along.

dandy I'm probably guilty of that - like the time I superglued my fingers together and none of the google remedies worked and I didn't thank the person who got me unstuck because I was panicking about being unstuck beccause I needed to get somewhere fairly immediately (think it was a school run actually...)

So if it was someone reading this thread thanky you very very much!
