To pretend that I have remembered our anniversary afterall?

In fairness it's been a busy week- dd2 has been awake most of the nights, it's my aunt's funeral tomorrow, DP only told me last night that he is up in court next week over debt issues, and I found out first thing this morning that it wasn't worth my while turning up to work as the place has gone bust, so have lost my job...

On the plus side, DP won the lottery

A tenner.

So I have bought a bottle of cava and some nice vodka that Tesco have on offer for a tenner, to cheer us up and make a joke about the lottery win...

But given that it has only just occurred to me that it is exactly four years since we met, shagged and fell in love, and I know he has been stressed to bits and won't remember either- shall I pretend I knew all along?

If you bring it up, won't it make him feel crap that he forgot?

BitOfFun · 03/12/2009 20:53

Nah, I won't make him sweat for long...just a little bit. We can celebrate on Saturday when we've got no kids here and don't have to be up early.

Don't pretend you've been planning things but you could mention that it occurred to you and you thought it would be nice to have some bubbly.

Bubbles with a reason taste better
