to plan on turning up to work an hour late?

because i know there will be nowhere to park at the right time, and i'll end up circling the carpark for an hour,

or i could leave an hour and a half before i should do so i have plenty of time to circle the car park. although this doesn't usually work and i still end up being late and frustrated and stressed.

Somehow I think you're boss might have something to say about that LOL but I sympathise.
I work on a large airfield and recently had to pop into one of the other main buildings for 5 minutes, after wasting 20minutes circling the huge carpark infront of the building I eventually ended up in the carpark at the building across from it and found one space left marked "Diesal cars".
Well I wasn't about to park any further away and walk in the rain, not with my 20week bump.
I got out of the car and some helpful soul appeared and came over to ask me did I realise it was a diesal only spot...I displayed my bump, growled something at him about whether he realised I was preganant and not in the mood to walk 1/2mile in the rain and left him quivering on the roadside.
Men..they never learn LOL
