Well she called round last night........

with a bottle of wine!!!

DH answered door, but apparently she said "I was out of order, please accept my apology". He said he accepted apology and that it was forgotten. Well I never!!

Hello neighbour Well done.

TootaLaFruit · 02/12/2009 09:35

HugeBaublesWhatDidISayRoy · 02/12/2009 10:20

was just kidding btw - never even saw the thread!

kateecass · 02/12/2009 10:58

I did wonder if she was an MNer?? She doesn't look like one!! Whatever one looks like!!

As far as I know she lives alone and has cats. She could have grown-up kids who have left home.

I have been noseying monitoring the parking situation outside her house since and she has only been able to park outside once or twice. Am also wondering if other neighbours saw the note and thought they'd park there on purpose. I haven't mentionned it to any neighbours.

Is it decent wine?

WeThreeNinks · 02/12/2009 11:03

Crack it open then, it's five o'clock somewhere.

OtterInaSkoda · 02/12/2009 11:06

I think it's quite brave of her to admit her mistake - as well as jolly decent. Hurrah for your neighbour!

Hurray fot your neighbour. Wine is a generous swap for humble pie.

ImSoNotTelling · 02/12/2009 11:22

Oh that's nice

Good old neighbour, all is well.

kateecass · 02/12/2009 12:28

here's the thread here

I admire her for knocking on the door and apologising. That must have taken some doing.

Should I check the seal of the bottle hasn't been tampered with before drinking???!!
