To be pissed off that next door's ds' girlfriend is yelping like a terrier during sex sessions and keeping ds awake?

Next door neighbours have a 15 (poss 16) year old ds, who has his girlfriend over when his parents are out. His bedroom is right next door to ds' and I can blatantly hear them shagging. Which, y'know, is fine, but the girl is so loud! Not to mention the fact that i think the bed is up against the wall so we can all hear it banging.

In normal circumstances I would just go into another room, put some loud music on and wait for it to stop, but it always seems to be around ds' bedtime, and goes on for hours! Cue ds going, "What's that noise mama? I can't sleep, what's that noise?"

Not sure whether to say anything to neighbours, and if so, what?? Presumably he has his girlfriend over with their blessing (although possibly not shagging with their blessing, I don't know) so I can't exactly go round and say, "Oi, tell your son's girlfriend to Shut Up - and learn to fake her orgasms quietly!"

Bang on the wall!

frakkinaround · 01/12/2009 20:49

YANBU, pop over and get your DS to ask what the noise is.

allaboutme · 01/12/2009 20:50

speak to the son. he'll be embarrassed enugh to do something about it!!
get him to move his bed or tell his gf to keep it down!!

TAFKAtheUrbanDryad · 01/12/2009 20:51

I wouldn't ever really get the chance to speak to the son - and I'd be hideously embarrassed anyway! Tempting to bang on the wall, don't want to sour neighbourly relations though, or get my car smashed up!

hobbgoblin

brilliant

TAFKAtheUrbanDryad · 01/12/2009 20:56

I know hobb.

Part of me thinks I'm just jealous that they're getting better sex than I am!

Yep, talk to the parents not the son.
But then i'm a sadist

hobbgoblin · 01/12/2009 21:06

Send the family an early xmas card with small gifts enclosed. Get some Claire's accessory earrings for the mother, erm, a pocket screwdriver for the dad and some condoms for the DS. Use freezer bags with names written on rather than wrapping paper.

Gobstopper from pick n mix for the GF

TAFKAtheUrbanDryad · 01/12/2009 21:07

What would I say though?

"Oh, hi, Mrs Next Door, I just thought I would mention that your son's girlfriend sounds like an over-excited Jack Russell during sex, and wondered if you could ask them to keep it down a bit?"

OP posts:
hobbgoblin · 01/12/2009 21:09

Say ypu didn't know they were getting a new puppy

Biobytes · 01/12/2009 21:09

I'm waiting to se how you tackle the issue...

santaschristmascakeywakey · 01/12/2009 21:12

I'd have a word with the son next time you see him, he can move his bed then and won't be embarrassed with his parents bringing it up with him .

UpsyOne · 01/12/2009 21:12

Go and confront them. If the parents don't know then you have currency. You tell him you will keep quiet if they do.

HerBeatitude · 01/12/2009 21:13

ROFL at girlfriend sounding like Jack Russell

What about making a few barking noises yourself, in competition?

TAFKAtheUrbanFucker · 01/12/2009 21:14

It's not barking. It's yelping.

Southwind · 01/12/2009 21:15

LMAO at hobbs gobstopper........so much so i just woke my baby ...oh poop

Hassled · 01/12/2009 21:16

You need to talk to the son. And yes, you have ammunition - tell him you can hear every last thing and so can your son, and if he doesn't sort it out you'll be discussing the matter with his parents. He'll be putty in your hands. There's nothing quite as satisfying as embarrassing the hell out of a teenager.

TAFKAtheUrbanFucker · 01/12/2009 21:23

Is it really shameful that I'm slightly scared of teenage boys?

I'm sure he's lovely, his parents and sister are wonderful, wonderful people, and we're lucky to have them as parents, but y'know, he's a teenage boy. He wears a hoodie.

Southwind - the waking up of babies is spreading!

deaddei · 01/12/2009 21:26

Definitely have a word with the boy.
We had an issue (though not with noise) with next door son flinging used condoms out of the loft, which landed down the side of our house outside the side door.
I took great delight in telling him and suggesting he went and picked them up. And he did.

TAFKAtheUrbanFucker · 01/12/2009 21:32

and ewwwwwwww at used condoms.

The parents are away at the mo - dh just informed me that he saw the ds walking down the road smoking earlier today, and their car isn't there.

Will have to pluck up courage to speak to the ds, or maybe i'll prime my ds to ask what all the noise was the other night!

santaschristmascakeywakey · 01/12/2009 21:34

He'll want the ground to swallow him and his hoodie up when he realises that his 'sex with a soundtrack' is keeping your DS awake.

The other option is to nab him when he's with his girlfriend too. Doubly embarrassing!

TAFKAtheUrbanFucker · 01/12/2009 21:35

ARGH ARGH ARGH!

What do I say though?

Can someone write me a script please?

TIA

violethill · 01/12/2009 21:38

Dial 999 and say you think someone's having a life threatening asthma attack next door.

A first response team arriving at their door might get the message across.
